He Finally Did It!

It took a few days, but JP finally finished his Lego Pirate Ship!

Just a few more touches…

Now it’s done!

Now I had to be cruel and tell him that he couldn’t play with his ship….  Until I took some photos!

Here’s my favorite:

Okay, I’m done.  Go and play my son!

Next up?  Optimus Prime!

Then JP was more interested in my Macro Lens then his pirate ship and the fun began!

This I saw and I had to share…

Winter Break Is Almost Over….

And we made 2 trips to the Strong Museum of Fun!  Why 2?  Why not.  The boys travel well, they behave there, and they have a lot of fun!

Meet Mr. Hulk…

Butterflies!  I know, as a real man (see below), I shouldn’t be saying this:  It was very cool.

Turtles - Worshipers of the Sun God!

Humming Bird – Standing still long enough for me to get this shot!

Ryan wondering when we’ll do something else…

Ever wonder what Kelly would look like as a 6 foot 4 inch NFL Linebacker?  Me neither but here it is!

Me and JP on the Carousel Tea Cup Thingy!

Here’s another example of the camera’s zoom:

No Zoom:

Full Zoom!

Hey look, this guy makes me look good!

Kelly finally broke down and picked a back splash for the kitchen.  I finally got motivated to work on the kitchen again!  Still needs grout, but it’s in place and looking pretty good!

Finally – JP and Ryan in Slow Motion.  They need to practice this more often!

Merry Christmas And All That!

Christmas was good!  The boys got everything they wanted (and then some…).  Everyone was sick so some degree, but that’s all gone for everyone for now!  Ryan was probably the sickest out off all of us, it took him 3 days to unwrap all his gifts!  I was ready to open gifts at 7 AM.  My kids?  8:30 AM.  It was killing me!  And it was driving Kelly crazy!

JP goes crazy, Ryan unwraps at 1/2 a square inch per pull…

My dad’s gift from us, Jackie and Steven…

Here’s a close up video…

To make this you need this Jukebox first.  Then you need to gut it out.  Then you need to fit this in.  Don’t forget speakers.  And a USB powered amp.  And a SD Card Slot so that you can update it easily.  And a SD Card so that it has music…  Yes it was a lot of work!

We took the Boys to Strong Museum thursday since we had off.  It was crowed but not too bad.  We still had a really good time!

The Good, the Bad, the Worse…

Let’s start off with the worse.  My buddy Glenn, his father died on Monday.  The wake was today and the funeral is tomorrow.  I don’t think works could possible explain what Glenn is going though, and I’m not about to try myself.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them…

The bad – Kelly is sick as a dog.  I really mean it.  SICK.  AS.  A.  DOG.   Yes I know that dogs rarely get sick but that’s how the expression goes…

The good – JP lost another tooth today!  We were on our way to the wake this evening and he was in the back yelling “I NEED THE LIGHTS!!  I NEED THE LIGHTS!!”  After I almost crashed and Kelly’s heart calmed down we found that we indeed had a tooth!

Do not Open Til Christmas!  (If only it was that easy…)

This has to be the nicest Christmas decorations in the City of Lockport!

Let it Come – We’re Ready!

For Christmas that is!  Well, Ryan is really into all the Christmas lights so we went up to see all the lights at Niagara Falls Canada.  The one mistake we made was that we parked on the other side of the Falls mist.  And when it’s 25 out side that mist freezes.  ON EVERYTHING!  My coat was creaking because of all the ice!  Ryan’s buggers had ice on them!  Was it worth it?  Hell yes!

It’s cold, you’re tired and hungry.  Where do you go for dinner?  Rainforest Cafe!

The Lights!

JP took this next one and it actually came out!  It’s crooked and he aimed too low and you can barely tell it’s Me, Kelly, and Ryan, but that’s ok!

Ryan’s Favorite!

My JP is afraid of a tiny snake!

Some of the MANY light displays!  Don’t I sound concerned about JP?

To get you into the Christmas Spirit, I present to you – The Muppets!

Just Enough Time For A Quick Update!

As most of you know, JP a goalie (for now).  He’s a rather uninspired goalie, but he shows up every weekend!

And we have a chin mark to prove that he’s a hockey player!

The boys saw Santa yesterday.  The Town of Lockport has its own Santa Claus Christmas Cottage!  And Ryan didn’t freak out this year!

So I was playing around with the new camera and check this out!  This is a photo of the Commercial Slip of the Old Erie Canal:

And here’s another photo, this time maximum zoom to a sign just below and left of the letter”C”:

Alright…. back to kid stuff!

A video of JP going spaz!

Here’s another of ME going spaz because of what Kelly gets JP to do!

Guilty Again….

I hate when I Ignore this site.  Then after too much time I don’t want to do it be cause the catchup takes too long!  So this will be short:

  • I left off with Ryan’s Birthday – He had a ton of fun!
  • Thanksgiving was filling…
  • Ryan had a second birthday party at Thanksgiving.   He was loving it!
  • My Darling Wife is a year older, which year is up to you to ask!
  • Missed Kris S Birthday…
  • I got a new camera and I’m selling my SLR on ebay.  The new one does HD video!  Don’t believe me?  Here!

Ryan being a geek!  That’s my boy!  You should see him with a tablet!  He shows JP what to do!
Ryan Posing…  With a fish-eye effect thrown in for fun!
Sun Rise Over the I-290…
This new camera has a 30x optical zoom!  What does that mean??  Look at the van about 5 rows away here:
You can barely see the van!  Now here is the camera with a full zoom!
Isn’t that awesome!?!?!  I’d post a few more examples, but then Kelly would yell and tell me to stop being a geek…  And people may not want their License Plates published on the internet!
